I remember having several arguments with N on budget allocation and taxes. One of the things which I strongly believe in is that in order to help this country and our countrymen, we must cure poverty at the grass-roots level. That investments must be made on the those in the lower income strata. (This includes a stronger and more efficient Conditional Cash Transfer Program, investments on infrastructures such as day-care centers, health centers and elementary schools.) This photo is a photo of one of the families who are benefiting from the conditional cash transfer program of the government. The rural poor responds very differently to the program compared to the urban poor. This was taken in Mindoro.
