Travel for Work
Work demands that I travel (as part of the job description). There are days when I feel bad about this because I can’t make long-term plans, there are gigs which I can’t go to, and it makes me really, really tired because of everything I have to do.
The next four weeks will mean:
Sept 23: Sta. Cruz, Occidental Mindoro Sept 28-30: Cavite Oct 03: Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro Oct 06: Palawan ** (for Social Pension program) October 11: Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro October 13: Buenavista, Marinduque October 17: Alcantara, Romblon October 20: Puerto Princesa City, Palawan
But then I am making the most of it. I get to travel for a living. (I get to travel for work, instead of working so that I can travel, my savings are so proud.) It’s not so bad. Plus social marketing and advocacy campaigns make me think that I am contributing to the society—more than what my taxes say.
November’s schedule is filling up fast. Hopefully I can go to Guimaras for some family bonding.
I get to help change the world and visit places. Call me Captain Lucky.
(I will bring you pasalubong from every province, if you ask. BBM/Gtalk/text—you know the deal)
